How much will it cost?

We charge £55 for the home visit whether you have 1 or 2 ears for treatment.

How do I pay?

Payment is required at time of booking. The procedure cannot go ahead without payment. We take Debit/Credit card payments and bank transfer.

Do I need a GP referral?

No you can self refer. We would require you to complete a consent form before any treatment takes place. The consent form will ask you for a health history.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We require 24 hours notice for a full refund to be issued. Failure to give 24 hours notice will result in loss of appointment cost of £55. Cancellations must be made in writing to info@smartearwax.co.uk.

Can I lay down to have treatment done?

Patients must be sitting upright during procedure. This is safe practice and allows the clinician to carry out the procedure safely and effectively. Patients will also need to keep their head still during the process for safety.

What happens if you can’t remove the wax?

Some wax is hard to remove due to stubborn wax, dry wax, small ear canals, anxious patient. Should we be unable to remove the wax we offer a free follow up to complete the procedure.
